BA (Hons) Fashion. This exciting programme is designed to develop your creative abilities within an industrial and commercial context. To this end designing, selling and marketing are all seen as connected creative pursuits. The programme teaches different aspects of fashion design (including traditional and avant-garde methods of pattern-cutting).

BA (Hons) Fine Art. The Fine Art course is designed to guide students towards establishing an independent contemporary art practice that is critically informed and technically proficient. This programme will help to firmly establish working practices for young artists that ultimately enable them to compete in the local and International art markets, and find their individual place within the wider art world and related activities. Not only will they have a profound knowledge of arts and be able to interpret artistic traditions, but also they will be capable of, primarily, generating bright innovative ideas and transmitting them across to their viewers via a wide range of media – from classic art to ultramodern media technologies.

Competition conditions

All the participants need to complete the task (BA Fashion or BA Fine Art) and send it to us with personal statement (motivation letter) in English. Personal statement/motivation letter are limited to 250 words or one typed page, so write concisely while still being detailed. Make sure that each paragraph is tightly focused on a single idea (justifying the choice of the course, describing the previous experience, skills, achievements and intentions of the entrant). Personal statement is a source of additional information about the applicant's motivation, professional interests and personal qualities – it is one of the factors taken into account when enrolling.

Projects may be submitted in such areas as graphics, drawing, painting, textiles, photography, decorative art, design, web-design, animation and others. First, the admission committee would like to see how you could generate and develop your ideas. Please, try to present examples of the best and current projects, which reflect your creative abilities.

All works need to be sent in one archive with the personal statement (motivation letter). Animation works or video should be presenting as an e-link to file-sharing or link to public channel on YouTube or Vimeo.
