Milan Fashion Week'results were incredibly positive

Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana announces the data of the just ended Fashion Week. The Fashion Hub, where Camera della Moda transferred the offices during the week and located at the UniCredit Pavilion in Piazza Gae Aulenti, has recorded more than 6,000 entries, more than 70% compared to last season. The Sala Cariatidi instead hosted 8 shows and one event with 3,900 presences. The new shows and presentations fashion hall in Via Savona 56 registered 3,800 attendances, distributed in 6 shows, 4 presentations and 2 events.

Milan Fashion Week has produced over 40 million interactions on social networks, Instagram and Twitter are the main channels (Blogmeter source). The social profiles of CNMI also achieved impressive growth: Instagram + 21%, Twitter + 42%, Facebook + 10%. Over 200,000 visits to the website of the CNMI.

In conjunction with the release of data on the Fashion Week, Camera Nazionale della Moda italiana publishes the results of the study carried out in the first half of 2016 on the progress of the fashion industry (textiles, clothing, leather, leather goods, footwear, eyewear, jewelry and cosmetics). The forecasts for 2016 are positive with a growth for the fashion and related industries by 1.4%, reaching an expected turnover of 83.6 billion euro.
